Press Release Author: Don Costanza

Industry: Internet & Online

Press Release Summary: The Warbird Beer Show is a one-hour aviation-related talk
show heard exclusively on Flight Line Internet Radio.

Press Release Body: Flight Line Internet Radio is the planet's only general aviation
radio station (internet based) for those with a passion for all things aviation
related. It is with extreme pleasure we announce that you can now hear The Warbird
Beer Show exclusively on Flight Line Internet Radio.

The Warbird Beer Show is a one-hour aviation-related talk show heard exclusively on
Flight Line Internet Radio.

The show is hosted by Dave “Sidney” Holmes with co-host Greg “Scratch” Muir.
“Sidney” is Dave’s call-sign as a former Air National Guard Flight Surgeon and
Desert Storm Veteran. As the back seat crew-member in Dave’s North American AT-6
“Texan” World War II era trainer, Greg is known as “Scratch.”

Dave is a practicing psychiatrist and an airframe and powerplant mechanic with over
15 years of Warbird restoration project experience. He has flight time in a wide
range of aircraft, from the Piper Cub to the F-16. Most importantly, Dave is the
founder and owner of the Warbird Brewing Company, the only beer company dedicated to
the beauty and history of Warbird aircraft. With over 10 years of work in the
Warbird restoration and maintenance world, Greg is a wealth of aviation knowledge in
his own right. As an aviation historian and artist, he has been “the detail man” in
the restoration of award winning Warbirds at Oshkosh and Sun’N Fun.. He is
currently building a 1911 Curtiss Pusher in a barn from plans.

Show segments are based on interesting questions that might arise in any hangar
where a T-6 flying, beer-brewing, combat veteran flight surgeon psychiatrist might
get trapped in a conversation with a sober, cigar-smoking, aircraft restoring,
gun-toting, lifetime-NRA card-carrying, homebrewer. Some of the questions might be
more serious, such as “Sid, I’ve been pretty depressed lately. Do you think I
should take up drinking beer, buy an airplane, or start taking Prozac?” Others
questions might be more whimsical, like “How did you end up shooting 20 cases of
canned beer with shotguns, instead of using clay pigeons like regular people?” With
live call-ins and light-hearted, entertaining banter, “Sidney and Scratch” actually
get around to the topics that matter most to pilots: How do you get into flying?
What do you enjoy most about airplanes and flying? How do you fly safely and live a
long life as a pilot? How do you properly maintain your aircraft? How do you
convince your wife that the money you spend on flying is worth it? The Warbird Beer
Show is expected to be a favorite, even with those plane nuts who don’t drink beer.

The show airs on Saturday at 11:00am Eastern Time and then aired throughout the week.
